Jeet Kune Do

Jeet Kune Do (Jeet Kune Do) is the name Bruce Lee gave his fighting system and philosophy in 1967. It is based on efficiency, directness, and simplicity which educates the student in 4 ranges of combat (kicking, punching, trapping, and grappling). Jeet Kune Do techniques have a reputation for its "Combat Realism" which means that its techniques have been timed tested for its effectiveness in real combat situations.

Jeet Kune Do has both Eastern and Western influences in its fighting style and has a paradigm of 26 different martial arts. Some of the more influential are Western Boxing, Wing Chun, Western Fencing, and Jiu-Jitsu. One of the greatest strengths in Jeet Kune Do comes from its diversity and freedom that ultimately causes the student to become a highly skilled martial artist.
